This story is based on a collection of ancient books boxed up since the early 1970's, which included two meeting books from an obscure 1830's-1840's local discussion group, The Sherburne Charitable Social Circle.

 

Turns out, embedded in those notebooks' carefully scripted entries is an origin story of the Sherborn Public Library!
